At Center for Integrated Medicine we understand how important it is to receive value for your healthcare dollar.

More than likely you are paying for your healthcare services with some form of insurance coverage. Since insurance coverage varies from plan to plan many people do not know if their insurance covers holistic medicine. Our staff is ready to assist you to find out exactly what those benefits are. We can help you fill out insurance forms and answer any questions you may have.

However, many private insurance companies such as Blue Cross, United Health, Principal, Combined Benefits, Trans Western, First Health, Sisk III, cover alternative, complimentary, and integrative medicine. Coverage may vary from plan to plan.

You may find that some insurance companies cover these services only if performed by an MD. This practice is within the guidelines of (CA) state statute provided that that insurance company is a private company. State sponsored health insurance plans must recognize licensed acupuncturists as primary care providers and reimburse for medical services performed the same as western medical doctors. Currently, Medicare does not cover holistic, complementary, alternative or integrative medicine.
