Intern Bios

Eric Gonzales is a graduate of Chapman University with a BA in Psychology with an emphasis on pre-med.  He plans to appy to medical school in a years time.  He is a native of the Calif. Central Valley and is fluent in Spanish. Jan. 2012.  

Charlene Vartanian is a resident of Three Rivers and a graduate of Fresno State University as a RN nurse.  She has experiences in home health and hospice care. You will see her at the clinic as well as CIM workshops.  Sept. 2011.

Avni Patel is graduate of Fresno Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Sciences and plan to attend a doctorate in Optometry program in the near future. Besides English, she is fluent in Hindi and Gujrati. She  also owns and runs a small business.  June 2011

Christina Lima is a pre-business intern from COS and is interested in a career in business management.  She hope to pursue a graduate degree in business.  She is a mother of three and is a veteran of US Army. June 2011.

Brian Amaro is pre-nursing student at COS. He is also a fitness instructor and personal trainer.  He plans on enter San Diego school of nursing. Nov. 2010.. 

Eric Chiang completed his BA degree is Biology at Calif. State Univ. Northridge and is now working as a Research Associate in Santa Barbara.  He is also a pre-medical student and hope to enter Oriental/Traditional Chinese Medical school in the Fall.  Besides his experience as a laboratory scientist, he has also worked in a doctor's office.  Dec. 2010.

Tyler Hanson is a Pharm.D. doctorate intern from Fresno VA Hospital.  He is a graduate of University of Pacific and is here at CIM to fulfill his  elective rotation in TCM/holistic and natural medicine.  He will work under the supervision of the senior doctor, Dr. Kwong. March 2010.

Helen Saechao is a intern from College of the Sequoias who is studying Business Administration and will soon transfer to Fresno State University, Fall of 2010.  She will learn skills pertaining to medical receptionist, clinic management and business marketing. May 2010. 

Minu Brar is currently a junior at Fresno Pacific University, majoring in B.S. in Pre-Health Sciences.  She is here at our medical clinic to get hands on experience with  herbs:  Dispensing prescription, inventory, labeling and general maintanence of the natural medicinal pharmacy.  June 2010.

Moonlight Go is a graduate of RN program at COS Nursing school.  She is here at our facility to broaden her experiences as a nurse by learning the foundations of TCM and its application to patient care.  She had worked in long-term care facilities before this.  January 2010.

Nicole Robbins is a graduate of Biola University, Los Angeles major in Human Biology (B.S.).  She worked at CIM off and on since high school and is pursuing a career in medicine.  You will see her work the front and back office as well as  helping to coordinate patient care plans at CIM.  May 2011.
